I completed my Ph.D. in Dr. Rama Natarajan’s lab at City of Hope, Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences. My graduate work led to the identification of several novel genes and non-coding RNAs regulated by Angiotensin II. Further characterization of some of these Angiotensin II targets has confirmed different roles for them in vascular smooth muscle cell dysfunction. In the Sander lab, my focus is on characterizing the role of small non-coding RNAs during pancreas development.
